The Province of Wyrelande
The game takes place within in a large area of land called 'Wyrelande', which is a Province of the much larger world. Wyrelande contains within it many diverse and varied regions, from the mysterious desert plains of The Redlands, through the magical Elven homeland of The Amethyst Vale to the gentle rolling hills and valleys of The Longlands, the Province's breadbasket.
In your Hero's journey, you will need to travel to all the corners of the world and the areas between. Some areas can be relatively peaceful and some are downright deadly. You'll need to grow strong enough to make the necessary journeys, not just to fulfil your ultimate destiny, but to find and acquire the necessary materials and minerals to assist you in your ventures.

THE GAME WORLD
Far to the south, where the air grows warmer and the earth takes on the colour of fired clay, lie The Redlands. Here, great sandstone cities rise from broad river valleys, their domes, towers and terraced gardens glowing crimson beneath the evening sun. Fragrant spice markets fill the streets as scholars debate beneath shaded courtyards.

The forest land of Silvervale occupies the Northern Marches of Wyrelande. Characterised by ancient silver-barked woodland punctuated by broad meadows, rolling valleys, clear rivers and mist-covered glades, Silvervale is mysterious and beautiful in equal measure.

The heart of Wyrelande, The Longlands are a vast expanse of rolling countryside, broad river valleys and fertile farmland. Great wheat fields ripple beneath open skies, ancient hedgerows divide the land into countless holdings, and quiet villages dot the landscape, linked by well-travelled roads and bustling market towns.

Below are just four the of ten regions within Wyrelande (eleven, if you count the (huge) underground region that is the Halls of Taurthos themselves. The remaining areas will be added as I move towards launch.
