I'm someone who was still young(ish) when games like Morrowind arrived on the scene - a groundbreaking moment for me as I'd been a huge fan and player for EverQuest for years and Morrowind felt like ... like a single-player MMORPG. Not a scripted ride, but a whole world of people, places and things to meet, do and kill (more often than not). That's the kind of game (and worlds) that I've loved and sought out ever since.

"Top down Morrowind"
When, in 2024, an unexpected (is there any other kind?) accident put me in situation where, for the first time ever, I couldn't work as normal and to help pass the time, I picked up Gamemaker 2 Studio and decided I could maybe make a game. Two years later, and I'm getting somewhere close, I hope. It's been the most enjoyable and all-emcompassing thing I've ever done. I'm proud of HoT and I'm hopeful people will enjoy the world I'm making.
